Garden of Words,
if you missed the last page, is an anime about young Takao meeting and befriending the mysterious Yukino on one of his numerous excursions to practice sketching shoe designs in the Shinjuku Gardens. When I was making this website, I decided that I wanted to include two scenes from this movie becauuse it has (in my opinion) the best animated references out of all the animes I've scene. It is extra special since I've actually seen the garden firsthand, and can recognize these places. However, there are other parts of the movie that take place outside of these gardens. One of those scenes is the afternoon train. It's a very simple scene that you would see in everyday life. All it is is an alley, a train, and some nice lighting. However, in both real life and anime, it gives much more feeling than that:
