animeplace was created by me, Koa Shen, in order to show the world
the beautiful scenery and animation of anime. I have been an anime watcher for a while,
and I always just adore the scenes like those showcased here that bring about deep calm and happiness
and nostalgia all at the same time. You wouldn't think that so many emotions could be portrayed in
a still drawing, but they certainly can and do. Another reason that this website was created
was to provide a travel itinerary for people who wish to go on an anime pilgrimage of
sorts and visit the spots where the most legendary of anime scenes were based off of. While
I think it's cool to see animes based off of real life, it's also important to remember that
many animes, while portraying something that might be realistic, are a child of the animator's
imagination, which is equally amazing. While researching for this website, I was dissapointed to
find that many of the animes that I love the scenery of the most were in fact not based off
of real-life places. Nonetheless, I just wanted to share some appreciation for them as well. Finally, before you
leave this boring page, I want to let anyone know that if they would like to reccomend animes for me to
add to this website, they should contact me on my instagram: @koa.shen. I have so many other animes
I want to include here, but I was a little pressed for time when making it.
