Steins; Gate

definitely stands out among all the other animes on this website. All the other animes are slice of life . Slice of life animes are usually like realistic fiction. They are based off of realistic circumstances and showcase a character's daily life and conflicts. I intentionally mostly picked these animes because this website is all about bridging the gap between real life and anime, and the closest thing to that bridge on the anime side is slice of life. Steins; Gate is a sci-fi anime about a time-traveling team (none of whom are actually named Stein). They happen to see a time machine appear, and the person inside tells them that they need to save the world from world war three. As you can see, this is very different from the other pages on this site. However, I wanted to include this reference because it stands out, and is a notable landmark if you were to actually try and visit these places. Like all the other pages, this sign is located in Tokyo, in the Akihabara district. This district has had many animes based off of its buildings and landmarks. Its bright yellow color makes it stand out among the crowded station where it is located:
